Small investments, life-changing impact!

For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants. – Isaiah 44:3
Most of us never even think about the gift of clean water on tap, any time we want it! In many parts of the world, it is something people never experience in their lifetime! In addition to convenience, the health benefits of clean water impact all aspects of life.
Your generous gifts helped provide two water taps in Mbale, Uganda. One tap and a water reservoir are located on the property of the Shepherd’s Home. The other is located not far away, for community use (photo on the left). Prior to this gift, the staff and boys had to travel to gather water, which would not always be available during dry spells. The community water source is often contaminated with parasites and bacteria, leading to a variety of frequent health issues.
Staff at the Shepherd’s Home report that since offering this clean water source to the community, they have gained great favor and an open door to share the gospel. Our prayer is that the Lord’s words to the prophet Isaiah will be true for the people of Mbale! By offering a physical source of clean water, we pray their hearts will be opened to the Good News of Living Water as well!
The video below is a message from our shepherd partners to you, their faithful supporters!

We are also celebrating the success of the first round of birds at Shepherd Poultry Farm in Mbale, Uganda! What a blessing! Not only do these birds provide supplemental food for the Shepherd Home in Mbale but the excess birds are sold to the community. This additional income helps support the rescue, holistic care, and reconnection of children redeemed out of life on the streets. Praise God!!
Thanks to your generous gifts, this first round was 300 birds. It was a great success! They are planning for an even larger group for their next batch.
South Asia
Mountain Evangelism
Pastor TL spent 3 weeks of January, away from his family, to coordinate the build of a new orphanage and evangelize in some of the most remote and unreached places of South Asia. TL’s commitment to The Great Commission, no matter the cost, is always an encouragement to us!

Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna!
What a beautiful sight it is to watch one of our South Asia churches celebrate Palm Sunday in such an impactful way, right in the middle of a persecuted country! Praise God! The majority of the children you see in this video live in one of the orphanages that your funding supports every month.

Uprising in India
We are reminded today that many of the people groups that we serve live every day at risk of extreme persecution, imprisonment, and death for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are saddened to learn that on Good Friday, one of our church plants in South Asia was destroyed. By God’s grace, the missionary and his family fled to safety and were unharmed. To the best of our understanding at this time, orthodox Hindu leaders are responsible for the damage, among many other atrocities in the region.
Our Shepherd leader in India has left his church planting trip and is en route to assess the situation and care for the Christian believers in these areas. We will update you with tangible ways you can help, but for now, please pray for his trip and for the persecuted believers across the globe, especially in the 1040 region. May the hope of Jesus spread amidst the despair in these places!
